During the procedure, the team will cleanse your skin and, depending on your treatment area, may apply a light topical anesthetic. They will offer you protective eyewear and the BBL Phototherapy’s intense pulsed light will heat the outer layers of the skin, treating the damaged surface layer.

After your treatment – what to expect

Most of our patients return to work following their session. You may have reddened skin, but that usually disappears in a few days. You’ll soon begin to see firmer and tighter skin, as well as a reduction in wrinkles and fine lines. Your results will continue to evolve for several weeks. If your individual treatment plan calls for multiple sessions, they can be scheduled a few weeks apart.
